I have been in the foodservice industry for over 30 years. I married into this career by falling in love with Bob. Before starting our family, I managed a bakery which had the most awesome cinnamon rolls (butter and 30 seconds in the microwave...Yum!). While Bob was in school, we owned several pizza shops and Cafés where we learned the value of teamwork and working hard. I started working for Great Western Foods shortly after Bob was hired and eventually became the office manager. We have always loved working together and I feel that it has strengthened our marriage relationship as we have learned and grown from these experiences. Also, he lets me pretend to be the boss. I love people and have always enjoyed finding out about their lives and what makes them happy.

Bob and I have been blessed with 3 beautiful daughters and 1 son who passed away 13 years ago. The addition of 3 wonderful sons-in-law was a bright spot for us and the joy of 6 grandchildren (1 6-year-old, 3 3-year-olds, and 2 1-year-olds, this includes a set of twins) cemented our belief that grandchildren really are the greatest. I enjoy planning mystery parties, singing in the shower (it makes me sound like a professional), doing crafts with my daughters, and reading books. One of my favorite things to do is curl up on the couch with hot chocolate, a warm blanket, and watch Hallmark movies during the holiday months. Bob is awesome because he will watch them with me. I look forward to many more wonderful years with my family.

I look forward to meeting you and answering any questions you may have about our business and products.

My heart has always been in the food industry. The day of my 16th birthday, I received a call from the manager at JB's Restaraunt and started my first official job as a busboy. Within 3 years, I learned all the positions from cook to assistant manager. At age 19, I served a mission for my church where I met my beautiful and fun-loving future wife. After getting married and while going to college, we owned and operated several pizza shops and Cafés. While in school, I took a class in food technology which ignited my passion for creating and marketing food products. This increased my desire to do more and I changed my major to Food Science Engineering. After I was done with my schooling, I went to work for Great Western Foods. I worked there for over thirty years as operations manager. My wife and I bought the USDA inspected meat shop when the owners of Great Western decided to retire.  I am excited to continue working with the customers and value their relationships.

My wife and I have 3 daughters and 1 son who passed away, 3 sons-in-law and 6 wonderful grandchildren. Lately, we have had fun camping and spending time together. I enjoy playing table tennis, watching basketball/sports, and learning about sous vide cooking. I love to travel and explore different cultures, especially the food. I also enjoy spending time with my dogs and working on my Karmann Ghia Classic cars.

I am a journeyman meat cutter and have been in the meat industry since 1986. I started in a small grocery store and learned about the different products and cuts of meat. I eventually moved on to bigger grocery stores and became a manager. I enjoy working with customers to produce the perfect product for their businesses and families. Over the years, I have learned many cooking techniques and seasoning for the different cuts of meat and love to share that knowledge with others.

My wife and I have 7 daughters and 2 sons. We love to support our children in their activities and have fun seeing them excel in everything they do. We are avid fans of football and love to support the local high school football team. Our family loves to go camping, boating, fishing, and four-wheeling. In my spare time, I enjoy hunting, woodworking, and gardening. Our first granddaughter recently arrived and we are thrilled to be grandparents.

Much of my life was spent in the construction business before I acquired my CDL and began working in transportation and delivery. I enjoy talking to people and creating good customer relations for Grand Peaks Prime Meats. I go out of my way to ensure that both business and retail customers receive their orders with precision and excellence.

I enjoy riding my motorcycle, dirt bike, and four-wheeler, and camping with my family. I love living in Idaho close to the Tetons, Mesa Falls, Island Park, Yellowstone National Park, Shoshone Falls and other spectacular places to visit.
